*) yep that's the title, just a stupid isekai title
Hey! you can control with gamepad if you want in battle, hold LB and press ABXY to do skill, the rest you'll figure it out eventually. I make this for my kid since he can only play with gamepad and begging for me to let him play
We currently have issues on WebGL build since we use async a lot.. we're working on it but this WebGL build might not make it till the deadline of gamejam
What is it about?
So this game is made for Shovel Jam 2025 just for fun and trying out new unity features and checking if my custom plugins are ready for new project. Also We just want to try forcing ourselves to finish the game (which kinda contradict to the theme of the jam but whatever)
Also as I stated before, we use a custom plugin that some were not public.. but you can check on my GitHub if you want to know, also we use some paid assets and tools too so it might be too good for a gamejam. I'll list all things we used on the bottom to make it easier in case you wanna include this in scoring

So what the game is?
The theme of the jam is "JUST GET STARTED!" so we went with the idea that when someone plays the game, they will just shout "BUT I JUST GET STARTED!" hence the name of the game.
The game is basically a generic Action J-RPG with Top-Down Camera Control, you have Basic Attack, Skills, Evasion, etc. You will face some enemies, but you already warned before so brace yourself.
There's plenty of idea we want to put more to it but at last we didn't make it in time so we try to make it playable and fun with all available features at the last days of the jam. There's some gimmick that made it although without any context on story.. it seems little bland.
The game might not to your liking but we hope you tried it at least once and give us your critics or even better an encouragement.

Fun game, the 3rd boss could use some tuning though, it'd be alright if the boss didn't spawn more adds
you mean the last one right?
I was planning to make it harder if I got more time, but yeah the spawn mobs skill is actually afterthought since we're running out of time on the Jam and need to make the boss feels different
